(Photo from Yanathicha Buapuean's Facebook page)A Chanthaburi MP on Tuesday asked the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to speed up its investigation into issues raised in a petition by residents of her province against the construction of a flyover at an intersection on Highway 317. Yanathicha Buapuean, the Move Forward Party MP for constituency 3, said the petition filed recently with the DSI had delayed a major road project. Ms Yanathicha said residents feared the flyover, across the Patong-Soi Dam intersection of the Chanthaburi-Sa Kaeo highway and a community market, would gravely affect their lives and businesses. She asked the DSI to speed up its investigation into the issues raised by the petition, so that the road's construction could be completed as scheduled.
