A Nairobi court on Wednesday summoned Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi to explain why his Sh600,000 bond should not be cancelled. This was after the legislator deliberately skipped the hearing of a case in which he is charged with forging his academic papers. Senior state counsel Joseph Riungu said the MP was taking the court process for a ride following the "serious economic crimes" charge.
