NZ First MP Shane Jones and his wife stopped and defused an alleged domestic violence incident in Wellington, after they witnessed a car swaying. Jones' wife Dot who spotted the incident said: "I just saw the car behind us swaying and getting quite close to our vehicle. When Jones, Dot and their son walked up to the car, the man inside was yelling and restraining the woman, Dot said. A PSO is issued when police have reasonable grounds to believe family violence has occurred or may occur.
