KUALA LUMPUR: Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng has lodged a police report over the 2006 murder of Altantuya Shariibuu, urging the authorities to reopen the case and look into the motive. The people responsible for Altantuya’s murder should be charged with abetting the murder,” Lim said after lodging the report at the Jinjang police station yesterday. On another issue, Lim claimed that 25% of the land sold by City Hall – 16 out of 64 parcels – went to a single property developer for RM785mil for 37.24ha. Two other companies, he said, were also involved in deals totalling five parcels at RM858.36mil and four at RM68.17mil. “The company that was sold the five parcels of land is actually a textile firm,” he said.
