Kisumu Central has disbursed Sh30 million in bursary for 7,000 students, MP Fred Ouda has said. Ouda said his priority was to ensure needy students were supported to access education for the growth of the nation. “I value education so much and helping the needy students to pursue education is the best thing one can do. Students in secondary schools got Sh16, 718, 742 with those in tertiary colleges given Sh8,883,258. “I will continue to supplement secondary education through my own scholarship and the government funded bursary through CDF,” Ouda said.
