Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo is to take over as the Coast Wiper point man after former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar resigned as the partyâs secretary general. Mbogo is leading the NASA campaigns in Kisauni constituency, which has 126,151 registered voters. Omar spoke at his Renaissance Centre offices on Monday after launching a scathing attack on the Wiper party and Kalonzo. His profile continues to rise after he defeated ODMâs heavyweight Rashid Bedzimba in the Kisauni MP race by garnering 34,898 votes against Bedzimbaâs 29,752. Mbogo said he is not aware of any moves to make him the point man or give him any position in Wiper.
