At 2-0, the Eskimos stand alone in sole possession of first place in the West. It’s fair to say the disappointments in Calgary and Saskatchewan are nothing compared to B.C.’s horrendous start. Even with a loss, the Eskimos would exit Week 3 tied for first in points due to the Bombers having an early bye week. Speaking of early holes, it’s hard for Stamps fans to digest the possibility of falling to 0-2 this week. But, right now, all three of those clubs are looking up at the Eskimos, who would be hard pressed to imagine a better start.
