MMDA bares traffic plan for Miss Universe Catriona Gray paradeBy The Manila TimesEXPECT traffic congestion in parts of Pasay, Makati and Manila where Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray’s homecoming parade will pass through on Thursday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced. MMDA Command Center Chief Edison Nebrija said 200 traffic constables would be deployed to implement a stop-and-go traffic scheme on roads covered by the homecoming parade. A stop-and-go scheme means that vehicles will be stopped to make way for the convoy and will be allowed to cotinue after the convoy passes through. The stop-and-go scheme will be implemented on J.W. Diokno Boulevard, Atang dela Rama and Vicente Sotto Street in the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex; Roxas Boulevard, Taft Avenue, Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue and Ayala Avenue.
