Of course, the former women’s bantamweight champion might just be referring to getting on with her professional life, which has included several Hollywood cameos. But on Saturday, White reiterated his stance that McGregor vs. Mayweather is going nowhere right now, and went so far as to call the Irishman’s next fight. “I expect Conor’s next fight to be in the UFC, in mixed martial arts, and (against) the winner of Khabib (Nurmagomedov) and (Tony) Ferguson,” he told TMZ Sports. A smart promotional tactic by the boss, as UFC 209 featuring Nurmagomedov vs. Ferguson is right around the corner.
