TORONTO — The name of Toronto’s Air Canada Centre will be changing next year. The deal is for 20 years for the naming rights to the building that has housed the NHL’s Maple Leafs and NBA’s Raptors since 1999. The change to Scotiabank Arena will reportedly take place in July 2018. Air Canada held the naming rights to the arena since it opened on Feb. 19, 1999. Scotiabank also holds the naming right to the Saddledome in Calgary and once had its name on the arena in Ottawa, now known as the Canadian Tire Centre.
