KUALA LUMPUR: Cost was not the deciding factor behind the suspension of the underwater search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 that went missing nearly three years ago. Australian Infrastructure and Transport Minister Darren Chester said among the three nations which undertook the search, Malaysia had injected the most money for the deep sea hunt. "Cost hasn't been the deciding factor in the tripartite. "The search had cost AUS$250 million (RM843.7 million) with AUS$60 million (RM202.50 million) (pumped) in by Australia. Malaysia had spent the most," Chester told a press conference in Melbourne, Australia this morning.
