KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with Merdeka Day, Maju Expressway Sdn Bhd (MESB) will not charge toll to all its users for all classes of vehicles. In a statement on Sunday, MESB said the toll-free period for Maju Expressway (MEX) users would start at midnight on Merdeka Day until 11.59 pm, while a 10% discount for highway users would start from midnight on Sep 1 until 11.59pm. “More than 107,000 vehicles are expected to enjoy the toll-free period, while more than 91,000 will benefit from the discounted toll rates,” it said.
