MEA invites electricity users to help save the world and promote Thailand 4.0’s digital services by paying electricity bills via MEA e-BillMiss Pasuk Sampoonachot, Public Relations Director, Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), declared that the MEA, as a state enterprise under the Ministry of Interior, is committed to driving innovation of intelligent systems supporting electrical power delivery and services to meet lifestyle demands in Bangkok metropolis as part of the move towards Thailand 4.0. The MEA has therefore devised “MEA e-Bill” to encourage power consumers to switch from receiving paper bills to receiving electronic documents using either their SMS or email address. Doing things this way, power users can receive convenient, fast and safe services without worrying about finding paper documents. It also helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions caused by production processes and reduces paper waste generated by electricity users in Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan areas that comprise over 3.8 million households. Applicants will also receive special privileges from the MEA and have the opportunity to participate in MEA Save the World activities.
