MEA campaigning air-conditioner cleaning to reduce global warming in 2020MEA campaigning air-conditioner cleaning to reduce global warming in 2020, increasing efficiency, reducing energy consumptionOn 28 February 2020, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) launches a new campaign by which electricity users in residential and commercial buildings can clean their air-conditioner and reduce the global temperature with MEA 2020’s service at a special price of only 300 baht. There is awareness concerning global warming due to carbon dioxide gas and the occurrence of airborne pollution that people are continuously experiencing. Therefore, cleaning the air-conditioner will help reduce the accumulation of dust and germs while increasing the efficiency of air-conditioners and promoting good health. It will help save energy, reduce electricity bills, and reduce global warming caused by greenhouse gas emissions. MEA confirms that MEA will start accepting applications for the project from 3 March 2020 onwards via the MEA Smart Life application only.
