Stack parking is a form of multi-level parking in which cars can be placed on horizontal decks that can be moved vertically using hydraulic lifts. MCG joint commissioner Vivek Kalia said, “Stack parking is an efficient parking system because of its low production cost and efficient utilisation of space. The Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) has invited private firms to bid for building stack parking systems at three locations in the city. Stack parking systems will be built at Jharsa road, Sadar Bazaar and near Civil Hospital. The corporation has been trying to build six multi-level parking spaces across the city since 2010 but the project is yet to take off.
