MCAs in Homa Bay on Thursday passed a motion to impeach Bob Kephas as Clerk of the assembly. They accused Kephas of abuse of office that led to the misuse of Sh34.4 million. "The report indicated anomalies which the committee said were detrimental to operations of the county assembly," Miregi said. Nominated MCA Susan Onyango accused Kephas of failing to remit statutory deductions of MCAs. The report further accused Kephas of authorising Sh1million that was paid irregularly to the embattled Speaker Elizabeth Ayoo.
