PETALING JAYA: Flights from Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and low-cost carrier AirAsia are not affected after strong winds and heavy rain hit Beijing on Sunday (May 26). An AirAsia spokesperson said that there were no delays or any cancellations involving any of its flights to Beijing. AirAsia also reminded travellers to check their flight status on its website. A MAS spokesperson also confirmed that there were no flights affected by the rainstorms. The heavy rain and thunderstorm were expected to last until 8pm Sunday, according to the National Meteorological Centre.
