SHAH ALAM: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is ready to support additional measures that the Selangor state administration wishes to implement before it signs the corruption-free pledge (IBR), says Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad. The MACC chief commissioner said that they welcomed any additional integrity measures on top of the existing ones in the pledge. "There can be 10 or 20 additional measures … just like in Penang, they have added 10 other additional commitments before signing the IBR. Dzulkifli was asked if the MACC would include additional integrity measures wanted by Selangor before it would to sign the IBR. I earnestly request the Selangor state government to show its commitment," he said, adding that he hoped Selangor would do so before the coming general election.
