PUTRAJAYA (May 24): Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has finished giving his statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on dealings made by SRC International Sdn Bhd. The session — Najib's second at the MACC headquarters this week — started at 10am and ended around 4.30pm, inclusive of a 40-minute break. "I have done my best in providing my statement and the MACC treated me professionally when questioning me. "The MACC said the statement-recording session is now complete," a disgruntled Najib said before leaving the premises. While MACC is currently focusing on SRC International, the 1MDB task force is probing other misappropriations in 1MDB, including allegations that RM2.6 billion worth of its funds were channelled into Najib's bank account.
