An HGV has careered off the carriageway on a busy section of motorway causing long delays to traffic in the area. All traffic was held on the M1 due to an accident, traffic monitoring system Inrix reported. The incident took place on the M1 southbound, at junction 35 on the A629 Cowley Hill, Rotherham..Traffic came to a halt at 11am this morning with the entry slip road at junction 35 is also closed.
