Mourners have been warned they face queues of up to 35 hours to pay their respects to the Queen as she lies in state. It’s reported that the Government’s emergency Cobra planning committee was told yesterday that queues for Westminster Hall could last 27 to 35 hours. Mourners face airport-style security checks before entering Westminster Hall, with sniffer dogs helping with the searches as part of the mammoth operation. He told i: “Disabled people should be given the same opportunity as everyone else to pay their respects. “Over many decades the Queen was patron to hundreds of charities and organisations and bestowed honours on hundreds of disabled people.
