Oscar star and Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong'o has announced a breakup with her South African boyfriend Selema Masekela citing deception. The couple began dating in December 2022, when Lupita posted their photos on social media and officially introduced Selema as her boyfriend. Selema comes from a musical family as his father is Jazz musician Hugh Masekela who is known for writing songs based on social activism.
