Luminato 2018 will feature a bold mash-up of contemporary themes and entertainment featuring local and international talent as the 12th annual festival expands from 10 to 19 days over three weekends. “There’s no overarching theme. But I come from the starting point that it’s really important for Luminato to be really engaged and relevant, and reflecting Toronto and the conversations that are going on here,” said executive director Josephine Ridge in an interview. “At the same time, we’re an international festival and so it’s about local engagement but also about being very globally connected.”The festival, which runs from June 6 to 24, will feature an eclectic range of works, including:
