The Uruguay international has scored 11 goals in 33 matches in all competitions this season and he was desperate to face United, given his long history with the club. That will be a hammer blow to Suarez, who has led the line for most of the season. Antoine Griezmann and Thomas Lemar also look set to miss out, with the former suffering a thigh injury and the latter suffering from Covid-19. United are waiting on the availability of Edinson Cavani but other than that they have a clean bill of health.
