Ortiz extended his record to 33-2, both losses against Deontay Wilder, with a clubbing left hand that caught Martin in the sixth. However, the fight wasn't called immediately despite Martin clearly being out on his feet. Martin was unable to bring his hands up to protect himself, and after a moment of hesitation, Ortiz was able to land more shots before the referee stepped in.
