The journey for Forbes Plunkett to win its first 16-goal title took eight years in the making at Santa Clara Polo Club in Wellington. Forbes Plunkett started off strong, taking advantage of Patagones fouls and led 8-5 after four chukkers. With 2:51 in the final chukker, Patagones took the lead (9-8) for the first time on Banner-Eve's second goal from the field.
