Commuters using the new Luas Cross City track reported delayed waiting times at Luas stops from early this morning and said they were unhappy with a reduced frequency of service. However, a Luas spokesperson confirmed that a traffic incident on Dawson Street, not directly involving a tram, instead delayed trams this morning. Gardai on traffic duty in the south inner city said they were "very satisfied" with traffic flows this morning in the south city centre.
