Bus journey times have jumped in Dublin since the Luas cross city service was launched, it has been revealed. Dublin City Council's found that they lengthened by up to 110% since since the beginning of the new Luas service. Busses used to be able to travel 5 kilometres in half an hour, but by the end of last month they could only move 1.7 kilometres per hour. The Sunday Business Post reports that journey times for southbound buses take between 85-110% longer between 9am and 11am. - Digital desk
