A Lowbrook Academy student recently finished runner-up in an international tennis competition event held in Nottingham. Nishta Kesavan, a year-six student at the Academy in Cox Green made it all the way to the final of the u12s doubles in the Tennis Europe event at the Nottingham Tennis Centre. Nishta also played in the u12s British Nationals event at the Corby Tennis Centre from February 10-14. She also competed in a Grade 3 u14s doubles event at the Tipton Sports Academy before going to Nottingham and competing at the Tennis Europe event. The 11-year-old has been coached by Nigel Mann at Maidenhead Lawn Tennis Club and has trained at the Delgado and Lee Tennis Academy in Bisham Abbey, Marlow, since April 2023.
