There are two days left for Upper Clutha residents to vote in the Queenstown Lakes District Council’s Wanaka ward byelection. As of yesterday less than a third of those enrolled had voted. So far 2455, or 29.98%, had voted out of 8190 people enrolled. Those who intended to vote, but had not done so, were encouraged to cast a special vote at the QLDC’s service centres in Wanaka or Queenstown. Preliminary results are expected on Friday afternoon.
