Low Pressure Area enters PH, to bring rain over Visayas, Mindanao — PagasaBy JOVE MOYAA low pressure area (LPA) entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) before dawn on Thursday and would bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over parts of Visayas and Mindanao, the state-run weather bureau said. Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over Northern Samar, while the Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with light rains. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are expected over Oriental Mindoro, Romblon and Marinduque. Cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over the provinces of Aurora, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, and Nueva Vizcaya, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.
