The Salmon Festival in Grand-Falls Windsor will be staying Canadian this year, with bands Loverboy and April Wine headlining the summer concert. Loverboy, best known for hit singles like Working for the Weekend and Turn me Loose have won multiple Juno awards and were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. April Wine, originally based in Halifax, were also inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Staying smallMayor Barry Manuel said in a statement that the town wanted to keep the concert small and affordable. "There was a lot of positive feedback after last year's show which saw a nice crowd with no long lineups or other issues," the town wrote in a statement.
