SA: The book is not a screed against technology, it’s a rallying cry for humanity. Technology has been hugely useful, even vital, but it’s also made us all realize we need more. I am not calling for people to put away their phones, or to forsake technology. But I do think this has been building for a while, how we have been conditioned towards different behaviour through reliance on technology, and we realize something’s off.
