| Photo Credit: Nagara Gopalmore-inGlobal professional services firm Louis Berger will provide an independent design review of the bridge proposed across the Durgam Cheruvu lake in the city. The Engineering, Design and Research Centre of the Special Bridges division of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Construction, which bagged the bridge project of GHMC, has awarded the contract for review to Louis Berger, a release said. The total estimated cost of construction in the bridge project is ₹ 147 crore. Louis Berger will provide an independent design review of the main extra-dosed cable-stayed bridge, approach viaduct spans, as well as of the approach road, geotechnical interpretative report (GIR) and highway alignment. “We look forward to leveraging our global design expertise to support the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation,” said Kshitish Nadgauda, senior vice president and managing director for Asia of Louis Berger.
