Lottery supporting community groups set to beginTickets are now on sale for a lottery scheme in part of Leicestershire that will support community groups. The first weekly draw of the North West Leicestershire Community Lottery will take place on 24 August at 20:00 BST. It has been set up by the district council aiming to raise money for charities and good causes in the area. Tickets are available to buy online at a cost £1 each, and players are able to choose which good cause 40% of their ticket sale goes to.
