State enterprises' revenue remittance exceeded the target by 1% for fiscal 2019, with the Government Lottery Office (GLO) contributing the most income to state coffers. State enterprise remittance for the last fiscal year, which ended Sept 30, amounted to 169 billion baht, outpacing the target by 1.16 billion baht, said Prapas Kong-Ied, director-general of the State Enterprise Policy Office (Sepo). He said state enterprises' income remittance is targeted at 188 billion baht for fiscal 2020. State enterprises have modernised their management processes by adopting technology and innovations to improve operational efficiency and meet the public's demands, Mr Charnwit said. The 10 highest remittances from state enterprises accounted for 88% of overall revenue remittance for fiscal 2019, he said.
