We tend to measure God’s blessings on the basis of how many of our prayers have been answered. But subsequently, we discover in course of time that whatever happened was in fact for good. There are several instances in life where we do not win, we suffer from a sense of loss. The 20th century American philosopher Ralph Emerson, describes man as the ‘ever-losing winner’. And even sometimes by losing a battle we may find a new way to win the war.
