The Los Angeles Times reports that Dea Spanos Berberian, the sister of Chargers controlling owner Dean Spanos, is seeking a sale of the club to stem massive losses. Spanos and Spanos Berberian also maintain a 15% share of the team, individually, as do their brother and sister. Spanos Berberian also cites the lack of a path toward satisfying the trust’s charitable donations set at $22 million.
