The accident happened in Padmabila on the Jessore-Khulna Highway on Tuesday afternoon, said Kotwali police OC Ilias Hossain. He identified the deceased as eighth grader 'Shakil', 13, and seventh graders 'Himel', 12, and Abu Sayeed, 12. Himel's father Abdullah Sheikh said the trio was going to the town on a motorcycle when the lorry hit the two-wheeler. Himel died around 4pm and Sayeed around 7pm when he was being taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital. Kotwali OC Hossain said Highway Police seized the lorry but the driver had fled.
