"People have contacted me about Alan Sugar's tweet," Mr McDonnell wrote on Twitter. Two other Labour MPs condemned Lord Sugar for the tweet and joined Mr McDonnell in calling for the post to be deleted. Lord Sugar had initially defended the post as "a joke" and said the "angry brigade like to moan". Mr McDonnell replied: "Dear Lord Sugar, I know that like so many Jewish families you will have personally experienced antisemitism.
