Source: UGCThe lion, named Loonkito, was reportedly speared by herders repulsing him in Olkelunyiet village at night on Wednesday, May 10. Loonkito is reported to have attacked livestock in a village bordering the Amboseli National Park towards Kimana town. According to Nation, the old lion had gone into the village in search of food alone, away from the pride his pride. Iconic Amboseli elephant known for its big tusks deadKenya also lost Tim, the magnificent Amboseli giant Tusker elephant, in 2020. Tim died at 50 in the Mada area of Amboseli National Park.
