Adobe StockThe U.S. Stock market is essentially made up of two stock exchanges. The Nasdaq has been around since 1971, but it really became part of investor nomenclature in the late 1990s, as “Dot-Com” businesses listed their stocks on Nasdaq. The reason is that there just are not many stocks listed in the Nasdaq that trade at yield levels I described above. I don’t take the latter route, but I do like to screen the Nasdaq on a regular basis to see where there may be some yield stocks to research and potentially own. I simply asked for Nasdaq-listed stocks that yielded between 3.5% and 7.0%.
