LaMelo, the younger brother of UCLA guard Lonzo Ball, scored 92 — 92! — points for his Chino Hills (Calif.) High team in a 146-123 victory over Los Osos High. Lexi is the sister of a member of the Chino Hills dance team who is awaiting a heart transplant. In a massive understatement, USA Today noted that Chino Hills “plays an up-tempo style” in a December 2015 story.
