KUALA LUMPUR: Argentine Raul Longhi will take charge of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) on an interim basis, the club announced on their Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page on Monday. The 66-year-old, a former club-level player, replaces Portuguese Ulisses Morais who stepped down as head coach after nine months in charge citing ‘health reasons in the family’ on Sunday. “Longhi will take the role as caretaker coach for JDT,” said club president Tunku Tun Aminah Sultan Ibrahim. “He has been with JDT for three years and is familiar with the club’s football philosophy. Under Morais, JDT won their fourth straight Super League and also the Malaysia Cup, both last season.
