About 68% of 2.57 crore voters exercised their franchise in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections for 13 of the 25 seats in Rajasthan on Monday. The highest voter turnout was recorded at 73.14% in Barmer, which is the country’s second largest Lok Sabha constituency, while the lowest turnout at 62.18% was reported from Pali. Despite the scorching heat, long queues of voters were witnessed outside the polling stations, as women also came out in large numbers for voting. Gehlot, Raje cast voteChief Minister Ashok Gehlot, along with his wife Sunita Gehlot, cast his vote in his hometown Jodhpur, where his son Vaibhav Gehlot has made an electoral debut and is contesting as a Congress candidate.
