A man from Long Island, New York, has been arrested for allegedly impersonating a cop and kidnapping two teenage girls in broad daylight, one of whom police say he groped in his SUV before she made a daring escape. Cristiano drove the girls to the Lindenhurst Public Library, where he told the 16-year-old to get out of his Nissan Xterra so that he could talk to the other girl. 'The man then drove the 14-year-old to Firemen’s Memorial Park and began to touch her before she fought him off and fled,' police said in a press release. Police said both girls, whom they described in the release as 'courageous young women,' were doing well. He was taken into custody as he was walking out of his Bay Shore home on Thursday morning.
