A London woman is facing multiple charges after a crash involving several vehicles in the city’s south end early Sunday morning, including allegations she assaulted first responders and a nurse. Police say they received multiple 911 calls about a serious collision on Wellington Road, between Commissioners Road East and Southdale Road East, just after 12:20 a.m. on Sunday. The driver, a 23-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries. "While being transported to hospital the female driver assaulted paramedics, police and damaged a police radio," police said in a news release. The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in a London court on Tuesday.
