In fact, this week will see temperatures rise again to levels that are warmer than those in Kenya, Ethiopia and Los Angeles. According to The Weather Channel Thursday will see highs of 26C, while Friday will be even warmer at 27C. Elsewhere on Friday, the Kenyan capital of Nairobi - which is almost on the Equator - won't see temperatures get above 24C. Although the weekend isn't expected to be quite as nice, it will still be hotter than Rio de Janeiro, and there's not a rain cloud in sight. With the likes of Wimbledon and Wireless taking place over the next few days, it looks like for once London's weather is going to play ball.
