In south London, separate footage showed large groups gather for a game of cricket in the street after bars closed. Revellers were also seen in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle ahead of new restrictions which are set to be imposed on much of the North on Monday. The cricket game was described as a 'sweet and exuberant moment of joy' by a documentary maker who filmed it. In Newcastle, there were similar scenes, with two young men seen enjoying a play fight. The North East, North West and Nottinghamshire are all predicted to fall under the strictest category of measures.
