The London region saw 29 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend. The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) reported 11 cases Saturday and 18 cases Sunday. As of Sunday, health officials said 10 people from that residence have tested positive for COVID-19. Obviously in a university residence you essentially have a big family on your floor so it can be a bit more challenging to keep that distance," said Dr. Summers. Over the course of the pandemic, the region has logged 1,468 cases, of which 1,268 have been marked as resolved.
